As a Senior EDS Electrical Design Engineer, you will be responsible for defining electrical and interface requirements for Battery Pack EDS components, developing wiring schematics, ensuring compliance with validation requirements, and driving DFMEA activities. Your role will involve collaborating closely with cross-functional teams to ensure optimized system integration and support continuous improvement through design updates. To be successful in this role, you should possess a Bachelor's or Master's degree in electrical engineering or a related discipline and have a minimum of 8-10 years of experience in automotive EDS electrical design and development, particularly in high-voltage battery systems. Proficiency in Saber tools, deep understanding of busbar materials, wire harness materials, and strong experience in DFMEA and design reviews are essential. Additionally, you should have a solid knowledge of high-voltage electrical fundamentals, electrical testing, high-voltage safety, and interaction with component suppliers.
