Senior Dotnet (MVC) Developer

You should have 7-8 years of experience in building and maintaining application functionality for new and existing systems using the .Net toolset with a SQL Server back end. Your responsibilities will include developing, maintaining, and enhancing web applications using ASP.NET, ASP.NET MVC, and .NET Core MVC frameworks. You will also be required to integrate web applications with external systems and services using Web services, REST APIs, XML, and JSON parsing. Participation in all aspects of the software development lifecycle such as design, implementation, testing, documentation, and deployment is essential. Collaboration with business systems analysts and project managers to plan and produce deliverables within tight deadlines is crucial. You should be able to independently take an idea from creation through construction, launch into production, and provide ongoing support and enhancements. Maintaining a high standard of quality for code, documentation, and other deliverables is a key requirement. You must be capable of authoring unit test code, familiar with mock/fake object testing, and adhere to industry best practices while contributing to internal coding standards. Offering estimates for assigned development tasks, learning and evaluating new technologies and tools, participating in peer code reviews, and creating technical specifications are also part of the role. You should possess strong problem-solving skills, a proactive attitude towards troubleshooting and issue resolution, and excellent communication skills. Moreover, you are expected to have hands-on experience with ASP.NET, ASP.NET Core, Entity Framework, SQL Server, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, jQuery, and C#. Exposure to MVC Framework for a minimum of 3 years and involvement in at least 3-4 intermediate to advanced projects in .NET MVC are mandatory. Knowledge of web services, REST APIs, XML, JSON parsing, Microsoft Reports for reporting and data visualization, version control tools like SVN, GIT, GitHub, Gitlab, Azure Repos, and a strong technical background are essential. Being a Graduate in Computer Science or a related field is a prerequisite for this position.,
