Senior Development Engineer-Python, Hardware & Firmware Validation, Test Automation

As a Senior Systems Development Engineer at Dell Technologies, you will be responsible for designing, defining, and implementing complex system requirements for customers. Your role will involve preparing studies and analyses of existing systems to ensure high-quality server products and efficient validation processes. Key Responsibilities: - Analyze validation requirements for Dell PowerEdge and AI servers, focusing on hardware and firmware integration validation. - Design and implement intelligent test automation using AI and agentic tools to accelerate validation cycles. - Execute hands-on testing on x86 / ARM based systems, configure systems, identify and report defects, and deliver detailed diagnostics. - Collaborate with engineering teams to enhance test coverage and improve product quality. - Utilize AI to extract insights from design specs and documentation, driving proactive validation and better customer outcomes. Qualifications Required: - 5-9 years of hands-on experience in hardware and firmware validation, with a strong focus on delivering high-quality server products. - Skilled in developing test automation and hands-on experience with AI/agentic tools to enhance validation efficiency. - In-depth knowledge in BIOS, FPGA, and BMC areas. Working knowledge on x86 and ARM architectures. - Experience with industry-standard protocols such as I2C, IPMI, and Redfish for server management. - Strong proficiency in Python and experience with AI frameworks (e.g., LangChain, AutoGPT, OpenAI API, Hugging Face). - Experience in AI/ML development, with at least 1 year focused on agentic or autonomous systems. Desirable Qualifications: - Proficient in server hardware, GPU-accelerated systems, and operating systems including RHEL, Ubuntu, and Windows. - Deep understanding of LLMs, NLP, and cognitive architectures, proven expertise.
