Senior Development Engineer-Hardware and Firmware Validation

As a Senior Systems Development Engineer at Dell Technologies, you will play a crucial role in designing and implementing complex system requirements for customers. Your responsibilities will include analyzing validation requirements for Dell PowerEdge and AI servers, designing and implementing intelligent test automation using AI, executing hands-on testing on x86 / ARM based systems, collaborating with engineering teams to enhance test coverage, and utilizing AI to extract insights from design specs for proactive validation. Key Responsibilities: - Analyze validation requirements for Dell PowerEdge and AI servers, with a focus on hardware and firmware integration validation. - Design and implement intelligent test automation using AI and agentic tools to accelerate validation cycles. - Execute hands-on testing on x86 / ARM based systems, identify and report defects, and deliver detailed diagnostics. - Collaborate with engineering teams to enhance test coverage and improve product quality. - Utilize AI to extract insights from design specs and documentation for proactive validation and better customer outcomes. Qualifications Required: - 5-8 years of hands-on experience in hardware and firmware validation, emphasizing high-quality server products. - 2-3 years of experience in AI/ML development, with at least 1 year focused on agentic or autonomous systems. - Proficiency in Python and experience with AI frameworks such as LangChain, AutoGPT, OpenAI API, Hugging Face. - Deep understanding of LLMs, NLP, cognitive architectures, and expertise in BIOS, FPGA, and BMC areas. Working knowledge of x86 and ARM architectures. - Experience with industry-standard protocols like I2C, IPMI, and Redfish for server management is desirable. - Proficient in server hardware, GPU-accelerated systems, and operating systems including RHEL, Ubuntu, and Windows.
