Senior Developer, Layer 1 (4G & 5G)

You will be working at Altiostar, the mobile broadband industry's pioneering provider of Virtual RAN (vRAN) with Ethernet front haul, aimed at enhancing LTE eNodeB through software-intensive solutions. Your role will involve focusing on complex features of the physical layer, requiring deep understanding of issues and delivering state-of-the-art solutions during real-time operations and product design. Your responsibilities will include showcasing strong signal processing fundamentals supported by a solid academic background, along with a robust knowledge of cellular communication systems and experience in wireless standards such as 3GPP, 3GPP2, or Wi-Max. Proficiency in programming languages like C, C++, or MATLAB is essential, enabling you to develop key modules, quick prototypes, and new physical layer features. Your role will also involve coding and debugging frameworks and algorithms in a multi-core environment. To excel in this position, you should hold a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electronics and Communication or a relevant field, coupled with 2 to 12 years of pertinent experience. Your skill set should demonstrate the ability to enhance algorithm performance, identify architectural issues, and utilize test tools like signal generators and analyzers. Experience in multi-layer integration and optimization techniques will be advantageous. Preferred skills for this role include adaptability to a competitive environment, ability to manage deadlines effectively, and willingness to multitask as needed.
