Senior Developer, Layer 1 (4G & 5G)

In this role at Altiostar, you will be responsible for working individually on complex features of the physical layer. Your work will involve deeply understanding issues and providing state-of-the-art solutions in real-time and during product design and development. As part of a competitive team, you will have ample opportunities for technical growth without micro-specialization being encouraged. **Responsibilities:** - Strong signal processing fundamentals with an excellent academic background. - Solid background in cellular communication systems with working experience in one of the wireless standards (3GPP/3GPP2/Wi-Max). - Excellent programming skills in C/C++/MATLAB. - Development of key modules and ability to develop quick working prototypes. - Proven skills in the design and development of new features on the physical layer. - Ability to code/debug framework and algorithms in a multi-core environment. **Qualifications:** - Bachelors or Masters degree in Electronics and Communication or relevant fields. - 2-12 years of relevant experience. **Required Skills:** - Proven ability to enhance algorithm performance. - Ability to identify issues in architecture and design with ease (Excellent problem analysis and debugging skills). - Usage of test tools including signal generators and analyzers. - Experience in multi-layer integration and optimization techniques. **Preferred Skills:** - Ability to work in a highly competitive environment and handle the pressure of meeting deadlines, which is common in a startup setting. - Should be a self-starter and ready for multitasking.
