Senior Design Engineer-HVAC

As a Senior Design Engineer specializing in HVAC, your role involves designing, developing, and overseeing heating, ventilation, and air conditioning (HVAC) systems to ensure energy efficiency, sustainability, and compliance with industry standards. Your key responsibilities include: - Designing HVAC systems for Commercial, Industrial, and Infrastructure buildings. - Selecting appropriate HVAC equipment such as chillers, air handling units, pumps, and ductwork. - Developing ductwork and piping layouts using software like AutoCAD, Revit, or BIM. - Having knowledge on VRF system, Chilled water system, Variable pumping system, Car park ventilation system, etc. - Ensuring compliance with industry standards like ASHRAE, ISHRAE, NBC, SMACNA, NFPA, etc. - Conducting heat load, cooling load, ventilation, and pressurization calculations. - Performing psychometric analysis to optimize air conditioning processes. - Selecting and sizing HVAC equipment based on calculations and project requirements. - Designing and sizing ducting and piping. - Coordinating with vendors and manufacturers for technical support. - Developing HVAC design drawings, specifications, Design basis report, and B.o.Q. - Collaborating with Architects, Structural engineers, and other MEP service teams. - Utilizing software like AutoCAD, Revit MEP, HAP, Trace 700 for design and simulation.
