Senior Data Scientist - Analytics

As a Senior Data Scientist, you will play a key role in understanding and solving complex business problems using analytical prowess to provide impactful insights for decision-making. Your contributions will be vital in transforming operations through technology and analytics. Key Responsibilities: - Understand business problems and collaborate with stakeholders to translate them into data-driven analytical/statistical problems. - Create appropriate datasets and develop statistical data models to derive insights. - Translate complex statistical analyses into actionable steps and present findings to stakeholders. - Communicate insights effectively using business-friendly presentations. - Mentor other Data Scientists/Associate Data Scientists to foster a collaborative environment. - Build a project pipeline in Databricks that is production-ready. - Develop dashboards, preferably in Power BI, for easy consumption of solutions. Qualifications Required: - Bachelor's/Master's Degree in Statistics, Applied Statistics, Economics, Econometrics, Operations Research, or any quantitative discipline. - Minimum 4-6 years of experience in a data science role, with a track record of building, implementing, and operationalizing end-to-end solutions. - Strong expertise in building statistical and machine learning models for various purposes. - Exposure to optimization and simulation techniques is a plus. - Proficiency in NLP-based language models, sentiment analysis, text summarization, and Named Entity Recognition. - Sound knowledge in statistical inference, hypothesis testing, Microsoft Office, Python, and Advanced Excel. - An undying love for beer is mandatory!
