Senior Data Protection Privacy BigData Security

As a Security Analyst in the Risk Consulting team at EY, you will be responsible for various privacy/data protection related projects for customers globally. Your role will involve designing, engineering, and implementing cutting-edge cloud platform security to transform business applications into scalable, elastic systems. You will work on all layers of the Cloud stack, including IaaS, PaaS, SaaS layers, big data platform, Authentication/Authorization, data encryption techniques, and other security services. Your focus will be on ensuring the security of the product and service for the cloud big data platform, with an understanding of ETL, data consumption, data migration security, and data loss prevention techniques. Your responsibilities will also include: - Designing, developing, configuring, testing, debugging, and documenting all layers of the Cloud stack - Working closely with Cloud Services management to identify and specify complex business requirements and processes - Researching and evaluating alternative solutions to enhance platform and application security - Monitoring and responding to alerts generated from Data Protection systems and other technologies - Responding to escalations by the Incident Response Team - Supporting clients by acting as an interim team member in various security roles To qualify for this role, you must have: - Bachelor's or master's degree in computer science, Information Systems, Engineering, or a related field - 5-8 years of experience in supporting Data Security Technology - 4-6 years of experience in Cloud Big Data Platform management/engineering, Data Encryption, Masking & Tokenization, DLP, and Data Security Posture Management - Experience in administration of DLP, Data Encryption & Tokenization tools - Technical/vendor certification will be an added advantage - Maintain current data protection and privacy expertise - Ability to independently research and solve technical issues - Knowledge of core Information Security concepts related to Governance, Risk & Compliance - Ability to work in a changing environment and provide support for data protection and privacy incidents Additionally, having professional certifications such as CompTia Security+, CEH, CISSP, or Vendor/Technical certification will be beneficial.
