Description
As a Senior Data Engineer Privacy at Roku, your primary responsibility will be to ensure compliance with privacy regulations by designing, implementing, and maintaining robust data privacy measures within the organization. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to conduct risk assessments, develop strategies to safeguard sensitive information, and enhance data governance frameworks. Your role will involve working on Rokus Big Data Platform architecture design, data modelling, and ETL to ensure compliance with privacy requirements. You will also be responsible for owning requirements, development, and quality assurance of Privacy compliance tools within Rokus distributed data processing systems. Key Responsibilities: - Maintain and support Rokus existing data privacy solutions - Audit Rokus Data Warehouse and Big Data Platform for compliance with GDPR, CCPA, and other data privacy regulations - Develop and implement Privacy compliance tools for batch and streaming systems - Participate in architecture discussions and influence product roadmap for privacy aspects - Collaborate with Rokus Trust team to ensure conformity with Roku's Privacy policies Qualifications: - More than 5 years of experience implementing data privacy solutions complying with GDPR, CCPA, and other regulations - Proficiency in scripting language, Python, and object-oriented language, Java - Experience with big data technologies like HDFS, Map-Reduce, Hive, Spark, etc. - Familiarity with Cloud platforms such as AWS, GCP, Azure - Experience with Data Visualization Applications, Looker is a plus - Strong collaboration skills with cross-functional teams - BS in Computer Science; MS in Computer Science preferred Roku fosters an inclusive and collaborative environment where teams work in the office four days a week with flexible remote work on Fridays.
