Senior Data Engineer

As a Senior Data Engineer at NTT DATA, your role will involve various responsibilities and requirements: Role Overview: You will lead the development and optimization of ETL/ELT pipelines using Informatica PowerCenter, IICS, or Informatica Cloud. Additionally, you will architect and implement data integration solutions across Azure, Snowflake, and Synapse platforms. Collaboration with data architects, QA analysts, and client stakeholders will be crucial to ensure data quality, performance, and compliance. Your role will also include mentoring junior engineers, contributing to technical design reviews, sprint planning, troubleshooting complex data issues, and leading root cause analysis and resolution efforts. Key Responsibilities: - Lead the development and optimization of ETL/ELT pipelines using Informatica PowerCenter, IICS, or Informatica Cloud. - Architect and implement data integration solutions across Azure, Snowflake, and Synapse platforms. - Collaborate with data architects, QA analysts, and client stakeholders to ensure data quality, performance, and compliance. - Mentor junior engineers and contribute to technical design reviews and sprint planning. - Troubleshoot complex data issues and lead root cause analysis and resolution efforts. Qualifications Required: - Advanced proficiency in SQL, Python, and Informatica tools. - Experience with cloud data platforms (Azure, AWS, GCP), data lakes, and data warehouses. - Familiarity with DevOps pipelines, Git, and CI/CD practices. - Strong understanding of data modeling, metadata management, and data governance. - Exposure to GenAI concepts and their implementation in data engineering frameworks.
