Senior Data Engineer- Azure

Role Overview: XenonStack, a leading Data and AI Foundry for Agentic Systems, is looking for a Senior Data Engineer - Azure to design and scale cloud-native data platforms for enterprise AI adoption. As a Senior Data Engineer, you will play a crucial role in leveraging Microsoft's data ecosystem to enable RAG pipelines, AI observability, and agent-ready data systems. Key Responsibilities: - Architect data pipelines using Azure Data Factory, Synapse Analytics, and Databricks on Azure. - Manage data lakes with ADLS Gen2 and optimize data warehouse workloads. - Implement streaming solutions using Event Hubs, Kafka, or Azure Stream Analytics. - Design governance and lineage frameworks with Purview. - Collaborate with product teams to deliver AI-ready datasets for Vision AI and AgentOps workflows. - Ensure scalability, reliability, and compliance with Azure Well-Architected practices. Qualifications Required: - 5-8 years in data engineering with 3+ years experience in Azure data services. - Strong expertise in Azure Data Factory, Synapse Analytics, Databricks. - Proficiency in PySpark, SQL, Python/Scala. - Knowledge of Azure DevOps, CI/CD, and Infrastructure-as-Code (Bicep, Terraform). - Familiarity with ML/AI data workflows and compliance-driven environments. - Azure Data Engineer Associate or Architect certification preferred.
