Senior Data Analyst/SME

Role Overview: As a Reporting Analyst/Power BI Analyst/Developer (SME) at Equiniti's EQRS Shared Services, your main objective is to contribute to the establishment of a newly centralized Reporting and Business Intelligence (BI) team within Retirement Solutions Share Services. You will collaborate with RS stakeholders to enhance reporting processes by utilizing tools such as SQL, Power BI, and Fabric. Your responsibilities will include gathering business requirements, designing BI solutions, developing data models, and transforming complex raw data into meaningful interactive insights. Additionally, you will be involved in developing and maintaining dashboards, performing DAX queries, Power Query functions, and working closely with stakeholders in the UK and India to ensure collaborative solution delivery. Key Responsibilities: - Gather business requirements and design BI solutions to transform raw data into interactive insights - Develop and maintain dashboards and visual reports using Power BI, including DAX queries and Power Query - Build strong relationships with stakeholders to ensure requirements are understood and collaborative solutions are delivered - Develop new data access processes, ETL, and Storage processes, including cloud-based solutions - Write and develop SQL scripts, work with complex SQL databases, and develop Microsoft Fabric solutions - Utilize complex Excel tools, spreadsheets, and functions - Analyze and cleanse source system data to ensure accuracy and consistency - Manage multiple complex projects simultaneously, ensuring timely delivery to a high standard - Design project plans, capture them in core tools like Jira, and document processes, models, designs, and solutions - Drive business and client decision-making through standardization and optimization of internal and client reports Qualification Required: - Fluency in English with strong communication skills at a business level - Extensive experience in designing, building, and maintaining Power BI dashboards (Desktop App & Service), including DAX and Power Query - Proficiency in SQL script writing and database management - Strong Microsoft Excel experience - Experience with Microsoft Fabric is advantageous - Good knowledge of testing approaches/methods and experience in devising and running testing procedures Additional Details of the Company: Equiniti is a leading international provider of shareholder, pension, remediation, and credit technology with over 6000 employees supporting 37 million people in 120 countries.
