Senior Consultant Technical

Job Description: As a Data Conversion Specialist at insightsoftware, you will play a crucial role in integrating and mapping customer data from client source systems to the industry-leading platform. Your responsibilities will include using technical data migration, scripting, and organizational skills to efficiently and accurately convert client data to the insightsoftware (ISW) platform. Additionally, you will be involved in extract, transform, load (ETL) activities to ensure precise and timely data conversions. Your role will require in-depth research, analysis of complex scenarios, and developing innovative solutions to meet customer needs while adhering to project governance. You will also be responsible for mapping and maintaining business requirements to the solution design and identifying data gaps for impact analysis. Key Responsibilities: - Assess data and analytic requirements to establish mapping rules from source to target systems - Execute real-time, batch, and ETL for complex data conversions - Utilize ETL methodologies and tools like Talend, Dell Boomi for data conversions - Prepare data for data loads based on target system specifications using data mapping tools - Work with various data applications/systems such as Oracle SQL, Excel, .csv files - Demonstrate strong SQL scripting experience - Collaborate with clients and ISW Project Manager for scoping, developing, testing, and implementing conversion/integration - Drive improvements in the data migration process - Communicate effectively with Project Managers and customers to ensure project timelines are met - Participate in customer SIT, UAT, migration, and go-live support Qualifications: - Experience in assessing data and analytic requirements for mapping rules - Proficiency in real-time, batch, and ETL for data conversions - Familiarity with ETL methodologies and tools such as Talend, Dell Boomi - Strong SQL scripting skills - Knowledge of software development lifecycle (SDLC) methodologies - Understanding of cloud and application integrations - Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and manage multiple tasks simultaneously - Experience in customer SIT, UAT, migration, and go-live support,
