Senior Consultant - Retail Analytics

Role Overview: Straive is seeking a dynamic individual to lead a team of Data scientists in delivering complex models to address business problems. As a part of the team, you will be responsible for applying your expertise in Machine Learning, NLP, Reinforcement Learning, and Deep Learning to enhance search, browse, autocomplete, and recommendations experiences. Additionally, you will be involved in building, deploying, and maintaining predictive models for various purposes such as search relevance, query understanding, ranking, personalization, product sale forecasting, and product recommendation systems. You will have the opportunity to manage multiple projects independently, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and communicate analytical solutions to non-technical stakeholders and senior leadership. Key Responsibilities: - Lead a team of Data scientists to deliver complex models and address business problems. - Apply expertise in Machine Learning, NLP, Reinforcement Learning, and Deep Learning to enhance search, browse, autocomplete, and recommendations experiences. - Build, deploy, and maintain predictive models for search relevance, query understanding, ranking, personalization, product sale forecasting, and product recommendation systems. - Manage multiple projects independently with high autonomy and accountability. - Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and translate them into analytical solutions. - Communicate analytical solutions to non-technical stakeholders and senior leadership. Qualifications Required: - 6+ years of experience in Machine Learning and Statistical Modeling in e-commerce or related environments. - Expertise in traditional and modern machine learning techniques including Regression, Classification, Ensemble Methods, Deep Learning, and Reinforcement Learning. - Effective communication and presentation skills for complex quantitative analyses. - Prior experience working in the eCommerce sector is a plus. - Bachelors or masters degree in data science, Computer Science, Statistics, or a related field from a reputable institution.,
