Senior Consultant (Front-End), Digital

Job Description: As a Digital Front-End Implementation Consultant at Guidewire's Services Centre in Bangalore, India, you will be part of a dynamic team dedicated to meeting the global customer demand for expertise in implementing Guidewire's leading-edge digital products. Guidewire's Digital products empower insurance carriers to develop and implement cutting-edge sales and self-service digital capabilities, enhancing the overall customer experience. Your primary role will involve learning and mastering Guidewire's Digital products to perform implementation and development tasks for technical consulting. You will work on building innovative user interfaces for the insurance industry using Guidewire Jutro, the design system, and front-end framework. Collaborating with User Experience, Business Analysts, and Guidewire InsuranceSuite implementation teams, you will deliver end-to-end solutions to the Property and Casualty (P&C) industry. In addition to technical responsibilities, you will advocate for customers to leverage Guidewire's powerful Digital out-of-the-box capabilities, ensuring optimal time-to-market and seamless future upgrades. You will also be expected to pass the required Guidewire certification as a Subject Matter Expert within the expected timeframe. Key Responsibilities: - Learn and master Guidewire's Digital products for implementation and development tasks - Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver end-to-end solutions for the P&C industry - Advocate for customers to utilize out-of-the-box Digital capabilities for efficient deployments - Pass Guidewire certification as a Subject Matter Expert - Build innovative user interfaces using Guidewire Jutro and front-end technologies Requirements: - 6+ years of professional experience in software development - Strong proficiency in JavaScript and React framework - Familiarity with Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) - Experience with front-end technologies such as HTML, CSS, SASS, and React - Knowledge of automated unit testing frameworks like Jest/Enzyme - Exposure to server-side technologies (JSON/RPC, REST) - Strong understanding of the software development lifecycle - BSc in Computer Science or equivalent - Experience with building web/mobile services and single-page applications - Familiarity with Agile methodology - Excellent communication and collaboration skills - Motivated, result-driven, and problem-solving mindset - Ability to work in shifts as required Preferred Skills: - Previous experience in the insurance industry - Familiarity with UX prototyping tools like Invision or Sketch - Experience in migrating AngularJS applications to React If you are passionate about digital technology and looking to work on challenging projects with leading-edge solutions, this position at Guidewire may be the perfect fit for you.
