- Backstage Strategy Roadmap Define and execute the strategic vision and roadmap for our Backstage offering aligning it with overall platform engineering and business objectives
- Team Leadership Mentorship Lead mentor and technically guide a team of Backstage engineers
- Backstage Development Customization Oversee the design development and maintenance of custom Backstage plugins extensions and integrations to meet organizational needs
- Manage and optimize the Backstage configuration and deployment processes
- Service Catalog Management Drive the growth and accuracy of the Service Catalog within Backstage ensuring seamless service discovery ownership tracking and metadata management

Technical Requirements:
- Skills Required
- Bachelor s in computer science or a related field
- At least 6 years of experience with strong proficiency in ReactJS Redux Node
- js and TypeScript
- Strong understanding of platform engineering principles DevOps practices CI CD pipelines and infrastructure as code
- Experience with cloud platforms AWS Azure or GCP and containerization technologies Docker Kubernetes
- Familiarity with RESTful GraphQL APIs and microservices architecture
- Excellent analytical and problem solving skills
- Demonstrated leadership experience including mentoring and guiding technical teams
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
