Senior CET Developer

As a Senior CET Developer specializing in Visualization & Configuration, you will play a crucial role in leading the development and enhancement of product visualization tools and custom extensions using Configura CET Designer and CM Language. Your expertise in object-oriented programming, 3D visualization, and CAD systems will be essential in delivering scalable configuration solutions. Your key responsibilities will include designing, developing, and maintaining CET Designer Extensions utilizing Configura Magic (CM) Language. You will lead end-to-end development of visualization tools and parametric product configurators for modular furniture or related industries. Collaboration with cross-functional teams such as product managers, CAD engineers, and UI/UX designers will be vital in translating business requirements into technical solutions. Integrating CET solutions with external systems like SQL databases, APIs, and ERP/CRM systems will be part of your daily tasks. Ensuring code quality, maintainability, and performance through rigorous testing, documentation, and peer reviews will be a key focus area. You will also have the opportunity to mentor junior developers, guiding them in best practices in CET development and Agile workflows. Your contributions to catalogue publishing, data modeling, and optimization of design/configuration performance within CET will be highly valued. To qualify for this role, you should have a minimum of 4+ years of software development experience, with at least 2+ years in CET Developer/CM Language. Proficiency in object-oriented programming using C++, C#, and Visual Studio is essential. Experience in working with SQL and relational databases, as well as a solid background in CAD, 3D visualization, or parametric modeling tools, will be advantageous. Your problem-solving, debugging, and analytical thinking skills, along with strong written and verbal communication abilities, are crucial for success in this role. Preferred qualifications include experience in producing, maintaining, and publishing product catalogues, familiarity with version control systems like Git, exposure to Jira and Agile/Scrum methodologies, knowledge of integration practices with enterprise platforms (ERP, CRM, or PLM systems), and prior experience in leading small development teams or mentoring CET/CM developers.
