Senior Cath Lab Technologist

As a Cardiology Assistant, you will play a crucial role in assisting cardiologists during diagnostic and interventional procedures, such as angiograms, stent placements, and pacemaker implantations. Your responsibilities will include: - Preparing the lab and ensuring all equipment, such as imaging systems, catheters, and stents, is sterile and functioning properly. - Monitoring vital signs and EKG during procedures and promptly alerting the physician of any abnormalities. - Operating and troubleshooting imaging and monitoring equipment to ensure smooth procedures. - Maintaining accurate patient records and documenting procedural details for reference. - Adhering strictly to radiation safety standards and infection control policies to ensure a safe environment for patients and staff. - Providing post-procedure care to patients and assisting in their transfer or discharge as needed. - Participating in on-call rotation for emergency procedures to ensure timely response and care. - Ensuring timely maintenance and calibration of lab equipment to guarantee accurate results and smooth operations. Additionally, the job is full-time and requires in-person work at the designated location.
