Senior CAD Customization Developer

The selected engineer will join our Hyderabad team and will be involved in developing Civil Engineering software tools. Number of these tools are to help create new workflows between engineering, design and construction professionals.

The current role is suitable for someone who has experience in Python/C# language. Additionally he/she is expected to interact with design team and provide quickly provide productivity enhancing tools.

Role & responsibilities

• Build, maintain, and improve the software platform and automation tools for Civil engineering applications.
• Collaborate with business stakeholders and multidisciplinary development teams to deliver high-quality products.
• Develop robust, maintainable code using C#/VB.NET/Python as required.
• Conduct thorough testing to ensure product quality and reliability.
• Adhere to project timelines and team-defined processes for software changes and documentation.
• Identify and communicate opportunities for continuous improvement
• Actively contribute to team knowledge sharing and act as a mentor where appropriate.
• Quickly learn and apply new technologies.

Preferred candidate profile

One who has hands-on experience in developing automation tools. The role is suitable for someone who is a quick learner, can work independently, is able to manage other teams (internal and external) and keen to solve challenging problems. The candidate should be a good communicator and be comfortable to take ownership of work.

Qualification

• Significant programming skills in Python/C#/VB.NET. Demonstrable expertise in plugin development or automation tools in CAD/engineering softwares.
• Ability to work independently and in teams. Take ownership of own work/tool to bring the finished solution to the end user.
• Follow best practices in software development. Curious to learn new technologies and ability to quickly investigate their suitability.
• Understanding of Civil Engineering software products like Autodesk, Bentley solutions is an advantage.
