Senior BI Developer - Reporting Tools

Role Overview: As a skilled Business Intelligence (BI) professional with over 10 years of experience, you will play a crucial role in formulating automated reports and dashboards using Power BI and other reporting tools. Your expertise in T-SQL, Performance Tuning, ETL, and SAP BO reporting will be essential in understanding business requirements and setting functional specifications for reporting applications. You will be responsible for designing data models, creating insightful knowledge from raw data, and developing Power BI desktop to generate dashboards, KPI scorecards, and visual reports. Additionally, you will establish row-level security on data, manage Power BI's application security layer models, and actively seek opportunities to enhance processes. Key Responsibilities: - Formulate automated reports and dashboards using Power BI and other reporting tools. - Understand business requirements to set functional specifications for reporting applications. - Familiarity with TSQL, Power Query, MDX, Power BI, and DAX. - Exhibit foundational understanding of database concepts such as relational database architecture, multidimensional database design, and Data Warehouse. - Design data models transforming raw data into insightful knowledge based on business requirements. - Develop Power BI desktop for creating dashboards, KPI scorecards, and visual reports. - Establish row-level security on data and comprehend Power BI's application security layer models. - Perform Power BI Admin tasks including scheduling, managing workspace, user access management, and security. - Utilize your experience in any ETL tool and hands-on experience in SAP BO reporting tool. - Actively seek opportunities to improve processes. - Provide 24x7 on-call support for critical production systems. Qualification Required: - Minimum of 10+ years of experience in Business Intelligence (BI). - Proficiency in T-SQL, Performance Tuning, ETL (preferably SAP BODS), Power BI, and SAP BO reporting. - Experience in Power BI for at least 3 years and in SAP BO for at least 2 years (optional).,
