Senior Backend Engineers

As a Senior Backend Engineer at Starlly, you will be responsible for building scalable services in .NET and Python (Secondary) for the AI-powered travel and entertainment app. You will have the opportunity to work fully remote with a contract-to-hire option. Join our team and contribute to engineering excellence, product innovation, and global impact while enjoying a culture of ownership and transparency. **Key Responsibilities:** - Develop scalable backend services using .NET - Design backend architecture for AI-driven recommendations and data flows - Create developer tools, ensure observability, and optimize system performance - Collaborate with product and AI teams for feature development - Conduct code reviews and provide architectural input **Qualifications Required:** - 8+ years of experience as a backend engineer - Strong expertise in DotNet (primary) and proficiency in Python (secondary) - Experience working in product-based companies exclusively - Familiarity with PostgreSQL, MSSQL, Redis, and Apache Kafka - Hands-on experience with Docker and Kubernetes - Strong system design and architecture skills - Ability to work asynchronously with distributed teams - Bonus: Frontend familiarity for debugging - Must be based in India In this role, your responsibilities will include building and maintaining scalable backend services in Golang, collaborating on AI and data pipelines for personalized recommendations, enhancing observability, ensuring high-performance services, and participating in code reviews while contributing to architecture.
