Senior Backend Engineer- GO/ Java

Role Overview: As a Backend Engineer (SDE 2) at Tarento, you will be responsible for designing and shipping reliable, high-performance systems at scale. You will have the opportunity to build APIs, own services end-to-end, and collaborate with product and infrastructure teams to contribute to the growth of Snabbit, shaping the backbone of instant home services in India. Key Responsibilities: - Own large features end-to-end, including design, development, testing, and deployment. - Design for reliability and scale by writing clean, efficient, and modular code with clear contracts. - Deliver with accountability by planning, prioritizing, and implementing features with minimal supervision. - Solve real problems by debugging complex issues across systems, not limited to your codebase. - Build securely by following best practices around authentication, data integrity, and access control. - Monitor and optimize your service dashboards, alerts, and performance metrics. - Collaborate with peers, including product managers, frontend developers, and infrastructure engineers. - Contribute to reviews and standards to ensure quality through thoughtful code reviews and test coverage. - Mentor and uplift junior engineers, sharing your knowledge and contributing to team discussions. Qualifications Required: - Strong proficiency in Go or similar backend languages. - Experience in designing RESTful APIs, working with AWS/GCP, and using technologies like PostgreSQL, Redis, Kafka, or SQS. - Hands-on experience with microservices, CI/CD pipelines, and containerized environments such as Docker and Kubernetes. - Solid understanding of data structures, algorithms, and system design fundamentals. - Comfort with owning features, defining interfaces, and solving ambiguous problems end-to-end. - Strong sense of code quality, observability, and operational ownership. - Comfortable working in high-growth, fast-moving environments where scale and priorities evolve quickly.,
