Senior Backend Engineer - Game Architecture

As a senior backend engineer at ONMO, you will play a crucial role in designing, building, and maintaining a highly scalable platform to enhance the mobile gaming experience for players worldwide. You will collaborate with a team of top engineers to develop and support the backend stack for our world-class mobile gaming software. Your responsibilities will include designing, developing, and maintaining new and existing functionality for server-side APIs and services using REST/GraphQL. You will be involved in the development lifecycle to solve technical problems of varying scopes and complexity levels. Additionally, you will analyze and research new technologies to provide innovative solutions that can be integrated into the product. Your expertise will contribute to improving code quality, security, and performance while mentoring other developers through code reviews and feedback sessions. Furthermore, you will integrate third-party APIs and manage product integrations with other digital apps and startups. The ideal candidate for this role should have at least 5 years of software development experience in TypeScript/JavaScript/NodeJs and 3+ years of experience working with serverless architectures. Proficiency in AWS services or other SaaS cloud providers is essential, along with a strong understanding of SQL/NoSQL databases such as MySQL and Redis. Experience with version control tools like git and GitHub is also required.
