Senior Backend Engineer

We are seeking a Senior Backend Engineer who excels in constructing scalable, high-performance systems and is enthusiastic about collaborating in an environment that is increasingly driven by AI-powered features and intelligent automation. You will have the opportunity to work closely with our Product, Data, and Engineering teams to create and deploy resilient backend services that cater to fundamental business operations as well as AI-oriented functionalities such as data processing pipelines, model serving infrastructure, and personalization engines. Our technological foundation comprises Java, Spring Boot, PostgreSQL, Kafka, Redis, and AWS. Your responsibilities will include developing, testing, debugging, and maintaining software applications, defining metrics for diagnostics and performance monitoring, and engaging in the entire development lifecycle from analysis and design to implementation, integration, testing, and deployment phases. We expect you to possess expertise in web services standards and related technologies like HTTP, Spring, XML, JSON, and REST, along with proficiency in Spring MVC, Spring Boot, Hibernate, and Microservices. A strong command of Java, Spring, Hibernate, and sound programming principles is crucial. As a Senior Backend Engineer, you will be entrusted with designing, developing, and implementing new backend services and applications, actively participating in all stages of the development process including design, coding, automated testing, and production releases. You will also play a key role in advocating departmental best practices, ensuring adherence to guidelines and standards, contributing to application design reviews, and swiftly identifying bottlenecks and resolving bugs to maintain efficient operations.,
