Senior Automation Quality Assurance Engineer

As a Senior Automation Quality Assurance Engineer at Interactive Brokers, your responsibilities will include performing test analysis, designing and implementing test cases, maintaining and extending existing automation framework, analyzing defects, monitoring test automation results, and managing concurrent projects with varying levels of urgency. To excel in this role, you must possess proficient knowledge and hands-on experience with Python, a strong understanding of OOP fundamentals and design patterns, experience with UI & API tests, automation of Desktop & Web applications, and familiarity with automation tools like TestComplete, Ranorex, Katalon, and libraries like Selenium, Robot, Cypress. Additionally, working knowledge of Git, JIRA, Confluence, and a Bachelor's degree in computer science, physical science, or engineering are essential. Good verbal and written communication skills in English and over seven years of experience in manual & automated testing are required. Nice-to-have qualifications include experience with trading platforms, mobile applications testing, basic knowledge of Java, JavaScript, Groovy, Squish test automation tool, CI/CD pipelines like Jenkins, and build tools like Ant, Maven, along with basic user knowledge of Unix.
