Senior Automation Engineer, Quality Assurance

In this role as a Senior Automation Engineer in QA at our leading global security company, you will be responsible for both automation and manual testing. Your primary focus will be on automating UI and API tests, enhancing test frameworks, and reducing test cycles. **Key Responsibilities:** - Perform manual testing for UI and API, including creating and executing test plans. - Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand requirements and develop effective test strategies. - Log defects accurately, triage and prioritize them with developers for timely resolution, and maintain effective communication throughout the process. - Develop and maintain automated test scripts using tools like Robot Framework and Selenium. - Review and improve existing automation frameworks to enhance efficiency and reduce test cycles. - Deploy test automation using cloud platforms like AWS or other public clouds. - Integrate test automation with GitLab CI. - Conduct API testing and automation using Postman. - Ensure application quality and performance through thorough testing and feedback. - Stay updated on new tools and technologies, conduct POC evaluations, and integrate effective solutions to address challenges. **Qualifications Required:** - BS degree or equivalent, MS degree preferred. - 7+ years of Software Testing experience including UI and API. - 5+ years of automation testing experience with expertise in Robot Framework and Selenium. - 5+ years of Python programming experience for test automation. - 3+ years of experience with Docker. - 3+ years of experience with AWS or other public cloud platforms. - 4+ years of experience with Linux or Unix systems. - 4+ years of experience with CI tools like GitLab or Jenkins. - 2+ years of experience with Postman for API testing and automation. - Experience with Network devices such as routers and understanding of BGP routing concepts.
