The Cloud & Network Security Engineer role entails designing and managing secure, scalable infrastructure on cloud and network platforms. The engineer will need expertise in cloud security, Terraform automation, firewall management, and load balancing technologies. Collaboration with DevOps and security teams is essential to embed security controls and ensure operational excellence. Responsibilities include designing and implementing secure infrastructure using Terraform on AWS and GCP, administering Palo Alto Firewalls, configuring F5 BIG-IP, performing firewall audits, automating network/security tasks, and maintaining documentation for network architecture and incident response processes. Qualifications required for this role include a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field, along with a minimum of 2-4 years of experience in cloud infrastructure and network security roles. Hands-on experience with Terraform, AWS, GCP, Palo Alto NGFW, and F5 load balancers is essential. The ideal candidate should be proficient in Terraform and infrastructure automation, possess a deep understanding of AWS and GCP cloud security services, and have knowledge of Palo Alto Panorama, F5 LTM, and networking fundamentals. Strong troubleshooting skills, scripting abilities, documentation expertise, analytical mindset, and effective communication skills are crucial for this role.
