Senior Associate - Data Privacy Assurance

As a Data Privacy Controls Tester at Tesco, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the company's compliance with privacy laws, particularly GDPR. Your responsibilities will include: - Testing and reporting on the 3 pillars of controls: Blueprint Controls, Operational Controls, and Data Standards. - Validating and challenging testing evidence submitted by stakeholders and escalating issues when necessary. - Overseeing stakeholders and enhancing their engagement with the privacy assurance process. - Collaborating with stakeholders to develop and implement remediation plans for ineffective controls. - Conducting privacy assurance "deep dives" to review specific business units or functional areas thoroughly. - Expanding assurance activities beyond data privacy testing to cover other compliance areas. - Understanding business needs and Tesco processes in-depth and applying Continuous Improvement tools and techniques. - Meeting tasks and transactions within agreed Key Performance Indicators (KPIs). - Analyzing solution alternatives to solve problems effectively. Qualifications required for this role include: - Experience in assurance/controls testing. - Basic understanding of data privacy principles. - Ability to build credible and trusting relationships. - Good understanding of Tesco Group operations.
