Senior Associate, Application Mgmt

As a Senior Associate at MetricStream, you will be responsible for performing the role of a Test Automation Engineer & Functional Business Analyst. Your role will involve developing automated testing solutions and analyzing business requirements to ensure that the software applications meet both functional and technical specifications. The ideal candidate for this position will have a strong background in test automation, Agile methodologies, and business analysis. Key Responsibilities: - Develop and Implement Automation Frameworks: Design and develop automation scripts using test automation tools. - Collaborate with Agile Teams: Work closely with software developers and customers to ensure software requirements are met. - Create and Maintain Test Scripts: Develop and maintain automated test scripts to ensure software quality. - Implement and Analyze Tests: Perform automated and manual tests, analyze results, and document any issues. - Continuous Improvement: Stay up-to-date with new testing tools and test strategies, and continuously improve test methods. - Participate in Agile Ceremonies: Engage in daily stand-ups, sprint planning, and retrospectives to ensure alignment with Agile practices. - Business Analysis: Gather and analyze business requirements, translate them into technical specifications, and ensure they are accurately implemented. - Customer Communication: Communicate effectively with customers to understand their needs and provide solutions. - Documentation: Create detailed documentation for business requirements, test plans, and test results. Qualifications: - Education: Bachelor's, Master's degree or equivalent experience in Computer Science, Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field. - Experience: Experience in test automation, Agile practices, and business analysis. - Skills: - Proficiency in coding languages such as Java, Python, or C#. - Experience with test automation tools like Selenium, JUnit, or TestNG. - Strong understanding of Agile methodologies and practices. - Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills. - Strong communication and collaboration skills. - Ability to gather and analyze business requirements and translate them into technical specifications. Preferred Qualifications: - Certifications: ISTQB, CSTE, or other relevant certifications. - Knowledge of API Testing: Experience with backend API testing and tools like Postman or SoapUI. - Business Analysis Certifications: CBAP, PMI-PBA, or other relevant certifications.
