Role Overview: As a Systems Life Cycle Management professional at a Fortune Global 500 organization like UPS, your role involves providing input, support, and performing full systems life cycle management activities. You will participate in component and data architecture design, technology planning, and testing for Applications Development (AD) initiatives to meet business requirements. Collaboration with teams and support for emerging technologies will be crucial to ensure effective communication and achievement of objectives. Your expertise will contribute to the development, integration, and maintenance of applications while providing input to department and project teams on decisions supporting projects. Key Responsibilities: - Design, develop, and maintain scalable C# applications and microservice implementation. - Implement RESTful APIs for efficient communication between client and server applications. - Collaborate with product owners to understand requirements and create technical specifications. - Build robust database solutions and ensure efficient data retrieval. - Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code. - Conduct unit testing, integration testing, and code reviews to maintain code quality. - Work on the implementation of Industry Standard protocols related to API Security including OAuth. - Implement scalable and high-performance solutions that integrate with Pub/Sub messaging systems and other GCP services BQ, Dataflows, Spanner, etc. - Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and deliver new features. - Integrate and manage data flows between different systems using Kafka, Pub/Sub, and other middleware technologies. Qualifications: - Bachelor's Degree or International equivalent - 8+ years of IT experience in .NET. - Bachelor's Degree or International equivalent in Computer Science, Information Systems, Mathematics, Statistics, or related field - Preferred Note: UPS is committed to providing a workplace free of discrimination, harassment, and retaliation.
