Application development and optimization techniques are applied to business problems, including the gathering of requirements, researching technical methods, creating prototypes, and data gathering. The Senior Analytics Developer role entails analyzing, designing, coding, testing, and correcting moderately to highly complex programs to develop optimization tools and heuristics for optimal performance and compliance. Subject-matter expertise, development, maintenance, and support for applications and business needs are also provided. Input is given to department and project teams to support decisions for projects. Responsibilities include systems analysis and design, problem analysis, effective resolution, designing and developing moderate to highly complex applications, developing application documentation, maintenance, and support. Reviewing technology trends to enhance application development expertise and participating in internal and external training to improve technical skills, job knowledge, and performance effectiveness are also part of the role.
