Job Summary: We are seeking a highly experienced Mobile Application Senior Lead Engineer with 8 to 12+ years of experience in Android or iOS development , who understands the entire mobile application ecosystem including backend services and IoT integrations. The ideal candidate will lead the mobile engineering initiatives, collaborating closely with product development, business stakeholders , and cross-functional teams from design to delivery . This role demands a hands-on leader who can ensure the mobile apps are secure, scalable, and meet the highest standards of user experience and code quality. Key Responsibilities: Lead the design, development, and deployment of high-quality mobile applications (Android/iOS). Understand and architect end-to-end mobile application ecosystems , including backend APIs, authentication, push notifications, and IoT integrations. Collaborate with product managers, designers, and QA teams to ensure the delivery of feature-rich, stable, and secure applications. Own and enforce code quality standards, perform code reviews , and define best practices for mobile engineering. Manage a high-performing team of 10+ developers and QA engineers , fostering continuous learning and performance excellence. Ensure adoption of Agile methodologies , track sprints, backlogs, and delivery timelines. Required Qualifications: B.E/B.Tech/M.E/M.Tech 8 to 12+ years of experience in mobile app development with deep expertise in either Android (Java/Kotlin) or iOS (Swift) . 2+ years of experience in managing the team Proven experience in leading end-to-end mobile application delivery including IoT-based applications . Knowledge of BLE, MQTT, or IoT protocols and integration patterns. Strong understanding of Azure services for mobile backend, authentication, notifications, and telemetry. Proficient in Agile practices and modern software development lifecycle management. Demonstrated leadership in people management, mentoring, and performance reviews . Hands-on experience in code reviews , architectural design, and app security and performance optimization . Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work with product and business teams . Preferred Qualifications: Knowledge of BLE, MQTT, or IoT protocols and integration patterns. Experience in the automotive industry is an added advantage
