Senior Android Application Developers

The ideal candidate for this Android Developer position should have 3 to 5 years of coding experience using the Android development framework. It is required that the candidate has at least 2 applications available in the App store that involve web services interaction. Strong coding practices, including emphasis on good design documentation and code review, are essential. Experience with XML and JSON Web Services is a must, as well as expertise in developing Location Based Services using GPS. Familiarity with SQLite databases is also necessary. The candidate should possess good coding standards, communication skills, and documentation skills. Proficiency in debugging and a solid foundation to suggest mobile UI design recommendations are expected. Additionally, the candidate must have experience in writing SQL Queries, Procedures, and Triggers. The Android Developer we are seeking should have excellent command over Android SDK, JAVA, XML, and JSON Web Services, along with relevant frameworks. The responsibilities of this role include designing the mobile application interface, navigation, and presentation. Custom controls should be developed as required by the application. A deep understanding of Object-Oriented Programming concepts is necessary. The candidate should be able to comprehend the product development roadmap and swiftly execute to build high-quality mobile applications. The ability to leverage native APIs to enable maps, in-app SMS and email features, and develop applications that control handset resources is vital. Strong troubleshooting skills with a proven record of solving customer problems are highly valued.
