Senior Analyst-Analytics, CEPA & B2B

As a Senior Analyst-Analytics at Synchrony, you will be a part of the Consumer Engagement, Products, and B2B Analytics pillar under the India Analytics Hub (IAH). Your role will involve understanding business requests, extracting, transforming, validating, and visualizing large data to support project delivery that drives Synchrony's growth and profitability. You must be passionate about data and analytics, have a knack for storytelling, and be eager to learn new technologies. You will collaborate with specific portfolios or cross-functional teams, utilizing tools like SAS, Model builder suite, R, Python, etc. This is a remote position with the flexibility to work from home. - Utilize data and analytical tools to create and monitor metrics reflecting the business's current state - Contribute to and implement strategic ideas aligning with business goals and project needs - Ensure timely delivery, accuracy, and documentation in accordance with Audit Procedures - BS or MS in Statistics, Economics, Mathematics, or a related quantitative field with 6 months to 2 years of hands-on Analytics experience (Distance learning not accepted) or 2 to 4 years of experience in lieu of a degree - Proficiency in SQL/SAS/Open Source concepts and ability to write and execute queries - Basic understanding of Core Concepts/Metrics in Retail Finance - Skill in translating analysis outcomes into findings and recommendations Synchrony is a premier consumer financial services company committed to diversity and inclusion, with a workforce that celebrates women, individuals with disabilities, and veterans.
