Senior Alteryx +Power BI

As a member of the Tax automation team at KPMG in India, you will have the opportunity to work closely with clients and client-facing teams to build automation solutions for client use cases. The team, a separate vertical within Tax, is led by Senior Tax and Technology professionals with significant experience in Consulting firms, offering tremendous growth opportunities. If you have experience in Alteryx and Power BI, this unique opportunity will allow you to shape a long-term career in the technology consulting business. **Key Responsibilities:** - Designing, developing, and maintaining data pipelines using Alteryx to extract, transform, and load data from ERP and various sources. - Creating, updating, and optimizing interactive dashboards and reports using PowerBI with different data sources like SQL, Oracle, Excel, Azure Synapse, etc. to visualize and communicate key metrics and trends. - Having a full understanding of data cleansing, transformation, and quality processes using ETL tools like Alteryx and Power query. - Writing complex queries with multiple joins to automate/manipulate data with Alteryx. - Demonstrating advanced skills in Microsoft Excel, including nested formulas, pivot tables, lookup functions, excel modeling, and preparing reports and dashboards. - Working in partnership with other IT teams and stakeholders concerning the accuracy of data and efficiency of processes. **Qualifications Required:** - 2-5 years of professional experience in Alteryx. - Proficiency in creating Alteryx apps and gallery-oriented workflows. - Working experience with developing PowerBI dashboards. - Strong understanding of one or more databases (SQL, MySQL, Mongo DB, etc.). - Experience in Power BI dashboard development and administration. - Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment. - Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. - Certification in Alteryx and Power BI will be a plus. - A degree in commerce background is preferred. - Strong interpersonal and communication skills, both verbal and written.
