Senior AI Python Developer

As a Senior AI Developer at SAP, you will play a key role in building innovative AI-powered applications to solve complex business challenges. Your responsibilities will include: - Designing and developing AI-powered applications leveraging Large Language Models (LLMs), AI agents, Model Context Protocol (MCP), Agent-to-Agent (A2A) protocol. - Taking end-to-end responsibility for development, testing, performance, security, scalability, and user experience of AI applications from prototyping to production. - Collaborating with cross-functional teams to integrate AI capabilities into existing applications and workflows. - Staying up-to-date with the latest AI trends and tools and recommending their adoption at SAP. Qualifications required for this role include: - Bachelors or Master's degree in Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, or a related field. - 8+ years of IT experience. Must-have skills for this position: - Advanced programming skills in Python. - Expertise in developing AI-powered applications. - Knowledge of Large Language Models (e.g., OpenAI, Hugging Face, LangChain, LLaMA). - Understanding of Agentic AI concepts and protocols like Model Context Protocol and Agent-to-Agent protocol. - Familiarity with Machine Learning frameworks such as TensorFlow, PyTorch, and scikit-learn. Nice-to-have skills include: - Knowledge of LLM architectures. - Experience in lifecycle management for AI models including training, validation, deployment, and monitoring. - Familiarity with DevOps/AIOps practices.
