Senior AI developer

Work location: Kudlu gate-Bangalore

Key Responsibilities

• Design and lead the architecture and development of scalable AI systems, with an emphasis on

backend services, orchestration, and operationalization.

• Build and manage modular pipelines for AI workflows including data preprocessing, training,

model serving, and monitoring.

• Develop robust APIs, microservices, and backend logic for AI model interaction, integration with

products, and real-time inference.

• Collaborate with DevOps, data, and infrastructure teams to deploy AI models in cloud, hybrid, or

edge environments.

• Ensure codebase quality and maintainability through CI/CD, containerization, and version control

best practices.

• Lead system optimization efforts: profiling, parallelization, and hardware-aware deployment (e.g.,

GPUs, Jetson, etc.).

• Drive best practices for model reproducibility, governance, and observability using tools like

MLflow, Prometheus, Grafana, etc.

• Mentor junior engineers in engineering excellence and scalable AI system design.

Must-Have Skills

• Strong programming and backend development skills in Python (bonus: experience with Go or

Rust).

• Proficiency in building and deploying scalable backends using FastAPI, Flask, gRPC, or similar

frameworks.

• Solid understanding of AI system architecture and lifecycle from data ingestion to deployment

and monitoring.

• Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, and CI/CD pipelines for production deployment of ML

systems.

• Strong grasp of asynchronous processing, distributed systems, and API design patterns for real

time applications.

• Familiarity with model tracking/versioning tools like MLflow, DVC, or Weights & Biases.
• Production-level experience working with Linux-based systems and containerized AI deployments.
