About the Role

We are looking for a detail-oriented and experienced Senior Accountant with 4–5 years of hands-on experience in accounting, financial reporting, taxation, and compliance. The ideal candidate should have strong knowledge of accounting principles, the ability to independently manage day-to-day accounting operations, and ensure accurate financial records and timely statutory compliance.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day accounting operations, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger, and bank reconciliations.
• Handle monthly, quarterly, and annual financial closing activities.
• Prepare and maintain financial statements, MIS reports, and management reports.
• Ensure accurate recording of journal entries, provisions, accruals, and expense allocations.
• Manage GST, TDS, and other applicable statutory compliances, including timely filing of returns.
• Perform monthly bank reconciliations and vendor/customer account reconciliations.
• Coordinate with external auditors and assist in statutory and internal audits.
• Ensure compliance with applicable accounting standards, tax regulations, and company policies.
• Monitor outstanding receivables and payables and ensure timely follow-ups.
• Maintain proper documentation and financial records for audit and compliance purposes.
• Identify opportunities to improve accounting processes and internal financial controls.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Commerce (B.Com) or equivalent qualification. CA Inter / CMA Inter will be an added advantage.
• 4–5 years of relevant experience in accounting and finance.
• Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting.
• Good working knowledge of GST, TDS, Income Tax, and other statutory compliances.
• Proficiency in Tally Prime, MS Excel, and accounting software/ERP systems.
• Strong knowledge of bank reconciliation, ledger scrutiny, and month-end closing.
• Ability to independently manage accounting activities with minimal supervision.
• Good analytical, numerical, and problem-solving skills.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines.

Pay: ₹40,000.00 - ₹45,000.00 per month
