Finance & Accounts Executive Semina Agro Pvt. Ltd.** Position: Finance & Accounts Executive Department: Finance & Administration Location: Ranchi, Jharkhand Reporting To: Director / MD 1. Role Overview The Finance & Accounts Executive will be responsible for managing the organization’s financial operations, statutory compliance, accounting processes, reporting, and supporting internal financial controls. This role ensures accurate financial records, timely reporting, and smooth coordination with internal teams, vendors, banks, and statutory bodies. 2. Key ResponsibilitiesA. Accounting & Bookkeeping Maintain day-to-day books of accounts (Tally). Prepare and verify vouchers, invoices, receipts, and payment entries. Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable. Handle petty cash, bank reconciliation statements, and ledger management. Ensure accurate closing of monthly and annual accounts. B. Financial Reporting Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports. Generate MIS reports for management review. Support budgeting, forecasting, and project financial analysis. Track revenue vs. expenses for each business unit. C. Taxation & Statutory Compliance Prepare and file GST returns (GSTR-1, GSTR-3B, annual return). TDS calculation, deduction, deposit, and return filing. Ensure compliance with Income Tax, PF/ESI, and other statutory requirements. Maintain records for audits and ensure timely coordination with auditors. D. Payroll & Employee Settlement Prepare monthly payroll in coordination with HR. Manage employee reimbursements, advances, and settlements. Maintain salary registers and compliance documents. E. Vendor & Client Coordination Follow up for payment from clients and settle vendor bills. Reconcile client accounts and update outstanding statements. Verify purchase orders, delivery notes, and bills before processing. F. Banking Operations Handle online transactions, RTGS/NEFT payments. Prepare bank documents, cash deposit records, and loan-related papers. Coordinate with the bank on account-related queries. G. Internal Controls & Documentation Maintain proper documentation of financial records. Support internal audits and enforce financial discipline. Assist in procurement record verification and inventory reconciliation. 3. Required Skills & Competencies Strong knowledge of accounting principles and GST/TDS compliance. Proficiency in Tally, Zoho Books, or similar accounting software. Good command over MS Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Table, MIS preparation). Strong analytical and numerical skills. Ability to manage deadlines and handle multiple tasks. Good communication and coordination skills. 4. Qualification & Experience B.Com / M.Com / MBA (Finance) 1–3 years of experience in Accounting & Finance Experience in handling GST, TDS, payroll, and statutory compliance preferred. Experience in agri-business or project-based accounting will be an advantage. 5. Salary & Benefits As per Semina Agro Pvt.
