Selenium SDET/ Serenity SDET/ Automation Tester with Mainframe Application

Role Overview: As an SDET Engineer with deep expertise in the Serenity Framework, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining robust automation solutions. Your primary focus will be on designing, developing, and executing automated test scripts and BDD scenarios using the Serenity Framework (with Cucumber/JUnit). Additionally, you will develop comprehensive test plans, test cases, and test data for functional, regression, and integration testing. It will be your duty to integrate Serenity tests into CI/CD pipelines and ensure effective, automated reporting of results. Collaboration with developers, product managers, and manual testers to clarify requirements and advocate for quality from the start will also be an essential part of your role. Troubleshooting, analyzing, and reporting automation-related issues, as well as tracking defects to closure, will be crucial. You will also be expected to review and maintain the automation framework, stay up-to-date with Serenity advancements and best practices, mentor team members on Serenity usage, and drive standards for test automation architecture and code quality. Qualifications Required: - 7-9 years of experience in test automation as an SDET or QA Automation Engineer. - Extensive hands-on experience with the Serenity framework (must have), including configuration and advanced reporting. - Proficient in Java (preferred) or other OOP languages used with Serenity. - Experience integrating test automation suites into CI/CD tools (Jenkins, Azure DevOps, etc.). - Strong understanding of BDD principles and experience with Serenity. - Solid knowledge of software QA methodologies, testing types, and best practices.,
