You will be joining a dynamic team as a Selenium Automation Tester with a minimum of 4 years of experience in creating and executing automated test suites. Your primary responsibilities will include designing, coding, and managing automated test scripts utilizing Selenium WebDriver. You will be instrumental in building and refining automation frameworks employing industry best practices such as POM, Hybrid, and Data-Driven approaches. Collaboration with various teams to comprehend business requirements and translate them into effective test cases will be a key aspect of your role. Conducting regression, integration, and sanity testing through automation, as well as integrating automation scripts with CI/CD tools like Jenkins or GitHub Actions, will also be part of your duties. In addition, you will play a vital role in identifying test coverage gaps and contributing to the enhancement of automation strategies. Analyzing test outcomes, documenting bugs, and collaborating closely with developers to address issues will be critical to your success. The ideal candidate will possess at least 4 years of hands-on experience in Selenium automation testing and be proficient in Java, Python, or C# for script development (depending on the technology stack in use). A solid grasp of TestNG, JUnit, or similar testing frameworks, as well as familiarity with SDLC, QA methodologies, and version control tools like Git, will be expected. Experience with build tools such as Maven or Gradle, CI/CD tools like Jenkins, and basic knowledge of API testing using tools like Postman will be advantageous. Desirable qualifications include experience with BDD frameworks like Cucumber, exposure to cross-browser testing tools such as BrowserStack or Sauce Labs, basic SQL knowledge for data validation, an understanding of Agile/Scrum practices, and familiarity with modern automation tools like Cypress or Playwright.
