Job Description

As a Software Test Automation Engineer, you will be responsible for developing and executing automated test scripts using Selenium for web applications. You will also conduct API testing utilizing tools like Postman or RestAssured. Your role will involve designing, implementing, and maintaining test frameworks to ensure the quality of the software product. Collaboration with development and QA teams is a key aspect of this position, where you will work together to identify test requirements. Documenting and reporting on test results and overall quality metrics will be part of your responsibilities. In case of any issues in test scripts or frameworks, you will debug and troubleshoot to ensure smooth testing processes. Participating in code reviews and providing feedback to developers will be essential for continuous improvement. You will also contribute to process enhancements and introduce best practices in automation testing. When automation is not applicable, you will perform manual testing to uphold the software quality standards. Your role will require you to maintain and update automation test scripts to align with any updates or changes to the application. Generating and presenting testing reports that summarize the results of the test cases will be crucial for project evaluation. It is important to stay informed about new testing tools and strategies to enhance efficiency and effectiveness in testing processes. Your ultimate goal will be to ensure that the final product meets the product requirements and fulfills end-user expectations.
