General Summary
The
Security System Test/Evaluation Engineer
will work as part of Qualcomm's Hardware Security Team on leading technologies in Qualcomm's diverse portfolio: Artificial Intelligence, Laptops, IoT, Mobile, Automotive, Wearables, and XR/VR. Product Security Certifications are critical in building customer trust, demonstrating security capabilities, meeting regulations, and ensuring high security assurance. You will be joining a cross functional team of expert hardware and security engineers contributing to the development and certification of Qualcomm Product Portfolio.You will focus on developing scalable methodologies, software vectors, test benches and tools for supporting: Federal Information Processing Standards (FIPS), Security Evaluation Standard for IoT Platforms (SESIP), Common Criteria, Global Platform, and EU Cyber Resilience Act (CRA). The candidate will be expected to work across multiple disciplines from system architects, hardware designers, production test engineers, security analyst, and certification engineers.
Required Skills
- Experience in Low Level software development in C, C++, and Assembly
- Excellent knowledge of ARM / RISCV processors
- Experience with SCM tools (GIT, Perforce)
- Experience with defect tracking tools (JIRA, CQ)
- Good communication skills
- Ability to work with cross functional teams
- Strong debug skills
Preferred Skills
Expeience developing software vectors
- Experienced with Operating Systems Principles
- Understanding multi-threaded and multi-core computing
- Working knowledge of software development process (Agile preferred)
- Knowledge of Security Protocols (Hashing, symmetric and asymmetric cryptography)
- Develop / Maintain / Port software vectors across a chipset families
- Debug of software vectors & system initialization using Lauterbach Trace32 / Practice Scripts
Experience With Developing Test Methodologies To Support
- Validating Security Architecture & Engineering Designs meet Security Certification Requirements.
- Leveraging Lab Instrument Automation to collect large Characterization Data Sets across environmental parameters ranges.
- Expreience with developing test benches that support a diverse range of HW/SW Qualcomm platforms.
- Developing test vectors to triage and isolate HW/SW faults
Experience with Qualcomm Automotive | Mobile | Compute | IOT or XR/VR Platforms.
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field and 4+ years of Systems Engineering or related work experience.
OR
Master's degree in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field and 3+ years of Systems Engineering or related work experience.
