Job Description

As a Security Engineer (L3) specializing in Security Tools, you will be responsible for configuring and supporting various security tools including firewalls, anti-virus, and EDR software. Your role will involve hands-on experience in cloud networking and confirming security policies. You should have a strong knowledge of supporting network technologies such as Switch, Router, Firewall, Load Balancers, IPS/IDS, and WAF. Additionally, a basic understanding of virtualization technologies like VMware ESX, Docker, and Containers is required. You are expected to have knowledge of SNMP, SSL & TLS protocols and their functioning. You should possess the ability to manage and troubleshoot technologies in a large-scale environment, including proficiency in IP/TCP streams diagnostic tools such as Wireshark. Working experience in Public/Private/Hybrid Cloud solutions and awareness of their best practices is crucial for this role. A solid understanding of Unified Compliance Framework and Cyber Drills is required. You will be responsible for reviewing and managing technical security roadmaps related to cloud security. Providing solutions and implementing effective security strategies both on cloud and on-premises infrastructure is a key aspect of this position. Furthermore, you will play a crucial role in understanding customer security requirements and delivering custom solutions. To be successful in this role, you should have knowledge of Cloud Security concepts and technologies related to Azure, GCP, and AWS. A good understanding of cyber security and risk management practices is essential. You must have at least 3 years of experience as a full-time IT professional in the administration and support of both on-premises and cloud infrastructure. Basic knowledge of Windows and Unix administration is required, along with hands-on experience in managing Proxy server tools like Forcepoint and Cisco WSA. Experience with 802.1x, Radius, and TACACS protocols to achieve AAA, as well as deploying AAA tools like Cisco ISE, is necessary. Familiarity with MFA systems and Radius servers is also expected. You should possess a good understanding of different Security Maturity model assessments and Security Resilience. In terms of qualifications, a Bachelor's degree in Engineering in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or Information Technology is required. You should have 6+ years of experience in information security and cloud technologies, with a minimum of 4+ years of experience in handling Network and End-Point Security Tools such as Cisco WSA or Forcepoint Websense. All required certifications as per RFP, including Azure Security certification, GCP Security Certification, AWS Cloud Security Certification, or similar certifications, are mandatory. Flexibility in working hours and readiness for a 24/7 support model are crucial aspects of this role. Strong team management skills are also required to effectively manage people within your team. Overall, as a Security Engineer specializing in Security Tools, you will play a pivotal role in configuring and supporting security tools, implementing security strategies, and ensuring compliance with security requirements to safeguard both cloud and on-premises environments.,
