Security Developer / Java Developer

As a Security Developer/Java Developer at Soffit IT Infra in Kochi, you will be a part of the Security Operations Center (SOC) team. Your role will involve developing Java/Spring Boot applications, optimizing Elasticsearch/OpenSearch performance, enhancing SIEM with advanced alerting and correlation, integrating security monitoring tools like Wazuh, normalizing log data, and applying Machine Learning for anomaly detection. Additionally, you will explore AI/ML solutions such as LLM-based log assistants. Key responsibilities include developing Java/Spring Boot applications and REST APIs, optimizing Elasticsearch/OpenSearch performance, enhancing SIEM with advanced alerting and correlation, integrating tools like Wazuh for security monitoring, normalizing log data, and applying ML techniques for anomaly detection. Experience with Wazuh, ML techniques, and LLMs is preferred. The ideal candidate should have a minimum of 2 years of backend Java/Spring Boot experience, proficiency in Elasticsearch/OpenSearch, experience with SIEM tools and log analytics, familiarity with Wazuh, ML techniques, and LLMs (preferred), as well as strong debugging and problem-solving skills. This is a full-time, permanent position with benefits including internet reimbursement. The work location is in-person in Kochi, Kerala. The working schedule is during day shifts.
