Summary:We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Firewall Engineer Manager to design, implement, and maintain robust firewall solutions that ensure the security and integrity of the organization's network infrastructure. The ideal candidate will have deep technical expertise in firewall technologies, strong problem-solving skills, and the ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams to meet security objectives. Roles & Responsibilities:1. Firewall Design and Implementation:- Design and deploy firewall solutions to meet organizational security requirements.- Configure and implement firewall policies, rules, and access controls.- Ensure seamless integration of firewalls with existing network infrastructure.2. Firewall Operations and Maintenance:- Monitor and maintain firewall systems to ensure optimal performance and security.- Perform regular updates, patches, and upgrades to firewall devices.- Troubleshoot and resolve firewall-related issues in a timely manner.3. Security Policy Management:- Develop and enforce firewall policies to protect against unauthorized access and threats.- Conduct regular reviews and audits of firewall configurations and rules.- Collaborate with security teams to align firewall policies with organizational standards.4. Incident Response and Troubleshooting:- Respond to security incidents and firewall-related issues, performing root cause analysis.- Implement corrective actions to prevent future incidents.- Provide technical support for escalated firewall issues.5. Collaboration and Communication:- Work closely with IT, network, and security teams to ensure effective firewall operations.- Communicate technical concepts and solutions to stakeholders as needed.- Provide documentation and training to junior team members.6. Continuous Improvement:- Stay updated on the latest firewall technologies, trends, and threats.- Recommend and implement improvements to enhance network security and efficiency.- Participate in the evaluation and selection of new firewall solutions. Skills:

- 10+ years of experience in firewall engineering or network security.- Strong knowledge of firewall technologies (e.g. Fortinet, Check Point etc).- Proficiency in network protocols, security principles, and troubleshooting techniques.- Knowledge of automation tools and scripting for firewall management.- Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.- Relevant certifications such as CISSP, CISM, CCNP Security, CCSA, CCSP or equivalent are a plus.- Experience to plan and execute firewall-related projects, including upgrades, migrations, and new implementations.
Additional Information:- The candidate should have minimum 12 years of experience in Firewall Architecture.- This position is based at our Bengaluru office.- A 15 years full time education is required. Qualification 15 years full time education
