About The Role

Project Role Security Architect

Project Role Description Define the cloud security framework and architecture, ensuring it meets the business requirements and performance goals. Document the implementation of the cloud security controls and transition to cloud security-managed operations.

SummaryAs a Palo Alto Engineer is responsible for designing, deploying, managing, and troubleshooting Palo Alto Networks security solutions including Next-Gen Firewalls (NGFW), Panorama, GlobalProtect, and VPNs. The role demands deep technical expertise, client-facing communication, and project leadership.
Roles & Responsibilities:

Deployment & ConfigurationInstall and configure Palo Alto firewalls (PA-Series, VM-Series), Panorama, and Prisma Access.

Security ManagementManage firewall policies, threat prevention, URL filtering, and VPN configurations.

TroubleshootingResolve complex network and security issues, ensuring minimal downtime.

Monitoring & AnalysisUse Panorama and other tools to monitor traffic, generate reports, and identify vulnerabilities.

Cloud IntegrationDeploy Palo Alto solutions in AWS, Azure, or GCP environments.

DocumentationMaintain detailed records of configurations, policies, and procedures.

CollaborationWork with architects, analysts, and IT teams to align security solutions with business goals.

Training & SupportProvide guidance to junior engineers and support teams.
Professional & Technical Skills:

PCNSE (Palo Alto Certified Network Security Engineer)

CCNP or equivalent

Strong knowledge of TCP/IP, VPN, MPLS, VRF, and network routing

Experience with SIEM, EDR, and firewall management tools

Familiarity with change management, automation, and revision control
Additional Information:

The candidate should have minimum 3 years of experience in Palo Alto Networks Firewalls.

This position is based at our Bengaluru office.

A 15 years full time education is required.
