Secondary Engineering - Power Quality Solutions

Role Overview: You will be part of Hitachi Energy PQS Electrical Engineering (EE) team, responsible for project engineering execution, designing hardware control and Protection systems, configuration, testing, and design of auxiliary AC & DC systems. Your role will involve working on innovative and reliable solutions to support the energy transition. Key Responsibilities: - Design and execute PQS projects in line with customer specifications and global standards - Ensure project execution within budget meeting all KPI's (Quality, OTD, Efficiency, Budget) - Interact with customers, officials, contractors, and others, attending project meetings and presenting engineering assignments - Design MACH based control and protection system cubicle, IED based control and protection system cubicle, and FACTS Plant design drawings - Estimate Aux. AC & DC power requirements, LV, MV Switch boards, battery systems, UPS, and voltage stabilizers - Estimate & size LV Aux. power, control cables, communication cables & indication cables - Coordinate with other departments for project schedule validation, review vendor/supplier drawings, and involve in site and commissioning support - Evaluate sub-suppliers, involve in customer FAT, and prepare As Built Drawings - Uphold Hitachi Energy's core values of safety and integrity Qualifications Required: - 6-10 years of experience in Substation secondary/EPC design or project execution or HVDC control & protection hardware design - Self-starter with strong attention to detail - Excellent written and verbal communication skills - Experience in Control and Protection cubicle design, secondary engineering, EPC execution in Electrical Grid Industry - Proficiency in Cable engineering, MS Office, and E3 design tool - Strong team player with excellent communication and interpersonal skills - Commitment to delivering high-quality digital solutions - Excellent English speaker with dynamic and proactive approach Note: For any accommodation requests due to disability, please complete a general inquiry form on the Hitachi Energy website.,
