Job Role: Mainframe CICS Admin Job Location: Pune/Hyderabad Years of Experience: 5+ Years Job Description: The ideal candidate for this role will have the below experience and qualifications: Experience in upgrade/install of CICS Transaction Servers, zCEE, CICS PA and other vendor products(CAFC) along with maintenance by applying FIX packs periodically. Installation and tuning processes and procedures for CICS web services and CICS plex System manager, JVM Servers and Angels stated tasks so that all CICS services and infrastructures meet operational targets. Should be self-sufficient and able to perform most of the tasks involved in his/her role without assistance. Good knowledge on monitoring and administrative tools like Omegamon, Sysview or any other equivalent for support. Identify performance bottlenecks and provide administrative solutions where appropriate. Working knowledge of System z communications and Systems Network Architecture (SNA) concepts Ability to interpret and utilize assembler output listings. Monitor ticketing tool to resolve incidents and requests within agreed SLAs. Adopt weekends to support which get planned on rotational basis to change implementation and support client systems for 24/7 on rotational basis.
